WarriorStartAttack — human–AI collaboration and provenance
Respect what the record does and does not say
The 2026-08-10 initial README, Lua and TOC establish an original Warrior auto-attack quality-of-life project and its implementation: start on selected offensive attempts, guard against accidentally toggling off, and treat Intimidating Shout as a stop command.
The project history visible in Git does not contain a complete series of planning conversations or proof of whether an AI assisted with the initial August source upload. An assistant cannot retroactively claim that it conceived the idea, authored every line, or resolved a particular bug unless an actual source or conversation documents that fact.
AI contribution on October 26, 2026
An assistant:
- Read the live GitHub tree, README, TOC and full 160-line Lua source.
- Inspected original upload and later attribution/documentation Git diffs.
- Recorded 20 offensive icon entries, one stop icon, three API hooks, the hostile-target/Warrior start gates, and auto-attack toggle-state strategy.
- Highlighted the missing Warrior-only check on the stop path, source-level icon collisions, global hook interactions and combat-state fallback uncertainty, explicitly as unverified behavior, not demonstrated bugs.
- Expanded/rebuilt eleven Markdown documents with a narrative development history and proposed client tests.
The AI performed research, analysis and editorial documentation in this session. It did not modify Lua/TOC, run World of Warcraft, validate localized spell behavior, approve new design changes or supply an open-source license on the creator's behalf.
Required record for future implementations
Preserve in the journal:
- Creator direction: What Babuni.dev wanted and why.
- AI contribution: What was proposed, analyzed, generated, or changed.
- Iteration: Tests, alternatives, disagreements, misunderstandings and corrections.
- User decision: Explicit acceptance, rejection or deferral.
- Implementation: Exact files, commits and test environment.
- Verification: What actually happened, observed effects, uncertainty and any regressions.
Publish narrative summaries that protect privacy. Do not publish private conversations, user credentials, unrelated personal information or other players' data. Keep code-license questions visible until the human creator resolves them.
This audit made documentation changes only and claims no code or client test results.
