GuildChatBridge: Human–AI collaboration

GuildChatBridge — AI collaboration and attribution

Who contributed what

The original idea, roleplaying ambition, boundaries and decision to put the project on ice came from me as its human creative. The central experiment was to give my player-controlled character an independent conversational presence in guild chat, potentially informed by their activities in the game.

The source history documents an early Lua implementation, but the available records do not establish who wrote each original line or whether earlier AI assistance was involved. Repository authorship alone does not justify a more specific claim.

For the October 26 and October 31, 2026 documentation work, AI assistance inspected repository files and available commit history, identified technical uncertainties and drafted or revised documents at my request. The creative history supplied on October 31 came directly from my account; the API distinctions and possible future architecture are research and analysis, not reconstructed original design decisions.

What has not been established

No live AI character, real-time external bridge, game-client compatibility test or automated test suite has been verified during these documentation passes. Suggested alternatives are not decisions to implement them. Documentation updates should not be credited as gameplay development.

Recording later work

For meaningful changes, preserve my direction and choices, AI's specific contributions, important rejected alternatives, affected paths and commit, and testing results. Technical references can use neutral language; the development journal should remain a concise first-person creative account.
