Action Emotes #1 — the experience I wanted

For Buxbrew, I wanted theatrical rhythm in everyday fighting. The interaction is: player presses chosen button → occasionally a built-in emote plays → the ability still proceeds. Randomness comes from which emote fires, not from a probabilistic on/off chance; the current gate is time-based only.

How I kept it simple

At that stage, I didn't build an options frame. Discovery and configuration take place in chat with /bbc watch, /bbc slot <n> and /bbc info. Status messages use a blue BBC: prefix. The chosen slot is shared across the account, which is convenient but can need resetting when different characters arrange their bars differently.

The tone I wanted

In the emote pool, I combined overt battle presence (CHARGE, ATTACKTARGET, ROAR), pride and delight (CHEER, FLEX), and playful interruptions (TRAIN, LAUGH, CHUCKLE, BORED, WHISTLE). The mixture gives a warrior-style action a less predictable personality. There are no bundled sounds, graphics or generated texts.

What I have not verified yet

Live tests are still needed to check chat readability, watch-mode noise, preservation of the original ability and localization of built-in tokens. These checks have not been completed in this documentation pass.
