Amberbrew Story
A living family-story and worldbuilding archive set in World of Warcraft.
Amberbrew Story follows the Dark Iron Amberbrew family, particularly in the evolving setting of World of Warcraft Forever. Jasmine “Buxbrew” Amberbrew is the initial central character, but the project belongs to the whole household: Bess, Arandor, Loni (“Lonebrew”), Morkah, Buxbrew, and the people around them.
The project began as BuxbrewCharacterStory and was renamed and broadened on 2026-11-01. This is a repository for preserving the creative vision, established family history, continuity, future stories, and the human-led development process — with fictional stories written on request and kept separate from confirmed gameplay and family canon.
Buxbrew's motto: “We roar, we laugh, we fight.”
The idea
Gameplay and roleplaying provide actual adventures and the passage of time. Family life, conversations, meals, work, humor, small gestures and quiet mysteries give those events depth. The intended reading experience is a welcome glimpse into a world that carries on beyond the page, not a conflict-driven epic with a predetermined ending.
The family's original lore is fan-created and rests on Warcraft's world rather than replacing it. New World of Warcraft Forever developments can change what needs to be checked for continuity.
Read the project concept and the ten storytelling principles.
Established reference material
- Canon — confirmed character and family facts
- Timeline — established sequence and undated events
- Character — Buxbrew's identity, appearance, personality, equipment and skills
- Family — Bess, Arandor, Loni, Morkah and family traditions
- Relationships — Roar guild, allies and rivals
- Places — Amberbrew Brewery and Tavern, Ironforge and other locations
- Lore — original family lore, Warcraft context and continuity notes
Writing and lived experiences
- Stories — original and reconstructed family narratives; literary invention is not automatically canon
- Adventure journal — actual or remembered gameplay and roleplaying, labeled by source
- Assets — illustrations, screenshots and references; provenance required
- Archive — retired material preserved when useful
Current phase: The initial fiction-writing pass is underway. Seven story chapters now accompany the existing family archive. In-story details remain literary interpretations until separately confirmed as canon; the gameplay journal remains reserved for actual play.

Provenance
Established means confirmed by the human creative and recorded in CANON.md. Journal records gameplay or roleplaying with known uncertainty. Narrative is written fiction; proposed is unapproved; unresolved marks missing or conflicting information. Neither illustrative examples nor AI-generated suggestions establish canon.
The sibling-order correction is settled: Loni is older; Buxbrew is younger. See continuity notes.
Authorship and rights
Creative direction, decisions and original Amberbrew lore: Babuni, human creative. AI assists with research, organization, drafting and repository changes where documented; AI proposals do not become creative decisions without approval.
World of Warcraft and the official setting belong to Blizzard Entertainment. This is an unofficial, fan-created project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
