Human–AI collaboration — Amberbrew Story
The human creative defines the Amberbrew family, chooses the project's identity, approves canon and sets the literary direction. AI can ask clarifying questions, research, organize, draft summaries and make repository changes when directed.
Who contributed what
- Creative direction: The creative chose to broaden BuxbrewCharacterStory into Amberbrew Story, encompass the family, retain Buxbrew as initial focus and build future material around actual play and family life.
- Writing philosophy: The creative answered ten questions about viewpoint, language, daily life, imagination, warmth, humor, pacing, mystery, Warcraft lore and desired reader experience.
- AI assistance: AI supplied the questions, reflected possible interpretations, produced a consolidated draft of writing instructions and subsequently organized the confirmed principles into project documentation.
- Editorial authority: Assistant-invented examples about characters or settings do not become confirmed lore unless the creative independently accepts them.
Authorship in public documents
Project histories and out-of-character narratives use the human creative's first-person perspective. Weave “I” and “my” into natural sentences, but do not start a sentence with “I” or “My”. In-world stories may use whichever viewpoint the creative later specifies.
Use creative, not “creator”, as the role label. Explain an idea, the reason behind it, what the creative decided, what AI actually did, changes of direction and verified results. Do not imply that the creative personally wrote text or executed code when AI performed the operation.
Evidence and privacy
- Explicit answers and corrections are decision evidence.
- AI suggestions and illustrative scenarios are proposals unless affirmed.
- Existing repository canon is the established-facts reference; reconcile conflicts openly rather than erasing history.
- Gameplay and roleplaying recollections should be marked with dates and uncertainty where known.
- Private discussion transcripts are inputs for documentation, not material to be pasted into public records.
- Implementation is reported only after repository changes are actually made; verification is distinguished from intent.
Initial documentation consolidation — 2026-11-01
The human creative requested documentation only. AI reviewed the supplied Refine Storytelling Instructions discussion and current repository, consolidated the approved vision and principles, and updated the relevant project documents. No fictional chapter, dialogue or new adventure was generated, and character canon was not changed in this pass.
Story reconstruction — 2026-11-01
The creative subsequently requested an actual writing pass, replacing the earlier temporary documentation-only instruction. AI drafted seven chapters using earlier conversation summaries and existing repository canon as source material, then recorded invented connective detail in each chapter's continuity note. The chapters are AI-written drafts based on human-led characters, events and writing direction, not verbatim recovered manuscripts. Any later acceptance of a detail as permanent canon remains the creative's decision.
